Corporation certification in 2017, is pleased to announce its re-certification with an excellent overall score of 117.2 points! But what does it mean to be a B Corp?  of purpose driven corporations that use business as a force for the common good. Certified B Corp companies follow the highest standards in their social and environmental performance, are governed by transparency and legal responsibility, and aspire to use the power of business to address social and environmental problems. Currently, the network of certified B Corp companies consists of more than 5,000 companies in 80 countries worldwide from 155 different industries! To re-certify as a B Corporation, we had to meet the criteria that measure a company's performance as defined by the B Impact





Assessment. During the demanding and months-long evaluation process, APIVITA was asked to answer more than 250 questions in five different areas: governance, employees, society, environment and customers. The 84.5 points in 2017 (which certified the company as a B Corp at the time) are a thing of the past, and in their place the 117.2 points reflect the company's progress in sustainable development in recent years! For APIVITA, this distinction is particularly important, as it reinforces its long-standing commitment to sustainable and socially responsible operation. We believe that society, people and culture are part of the same equation as the environment, planet and natural resources. Sustainable development can only be ensured when all of the above remain in full balance, which is why we are committed to becoming more and more "better for the world" .
